Just kidding. I mean it’s true, but it’s not the countdown anyone in their right mind is anticipating. These days it’s all about the weekend. No matter what our schedules look like, I think we can all agree on R. Kelly’s words of wisdom when he says, “It’s the freakin’ weekend, baby, I’m about to have me some fun”.
Or something to that effect anyway.
When you’re in that weird transitional phase between seasons where it’s not hot enough to hit the beach but definitely not cold enough to justify another day of binge-watching Game of Thrones, making fun weekend plans can be challenging. Especially when you feel like you’re constantly in work mode. Did you know that France just enforced a ban on employees checking company email before 9 am or after 6 pm? All in the spirit of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Man, I’ll raise a glass to that attitude.
Okay, so if you need a good kick in the pants to get started on your weekend, here you go. This is your butt kick.
